dmg Media
dmg Media is a publishing company with many titles including iNews, The Dail Mail, Mail Online, Metro and New Scientist. There was a very small team that was hired on-site during the peak of the coronavirus. More than 95% of the rest of the staff wash working from home. Northcliffe House where we were based was a ghost-town.
I created mostly lead-gen ads for iNewspaper online. The publication wanted to increase their registered users and ultimately their subscription base. I used mostly Google search ads to achieve this goal with their brand term achieving an astronomical result in then first month (something like 2000% increase).
I also worked on other titles like Mail Online and The Knowledge a short daily newsletter from the founder of The Week. The publications all had different readers so they required different media channels including: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), Google Search.
“It is my pleasure to recommend Todd Hanlon as an art director. He wholly rebuilt our studio’s Charging Bull website from scratch. The result: a significant uptick in our web traffic, and more importantly – numerous viable sales leads.”
“Todd was my assistant during my five years as a busy international artist in New York from 2000-2005. I would like to enthusiastically offer my recommendation as we worked on a variety of projects, most significantly the publication of my best selling narrative art book “High Pink”.”
“I have known Todd all his life and I hired him as a graphic designer for our sales team as he is a self-starter and works well with other people. He is very reliable and I recommend him without hesitation.”
“I first met Todd while shooting an MTV music video in NYC. I found his enthusiasm and creativity refreshingly extensive and recommend him.”
